her and him

He is always saying that they have nothing in common but she, a sitcom addict, says that’s where magic happens.

Trail of thoughts- 23

When people are different, there is space between their hearts. One can say that their love for each other and them as a whole is common enough. But she says that the bridge that connects their soul is built by them with their own minds and hands.

“If we have nothing in common, so be it. We can do or create hobbies that both of us can enjoy doing together”.

Maybe just love is enough, but are you sure?

He loves watching movies and series. He loves re-watching his favourites. She passes her time watching 20 minute recap of famous movies. She thinks movies today are lengthy without a story.

So, he made it his life’s mission to narrate her movies he watched, re-watched and loved so far. That works for both of them.

She loves writing. She writes poetry and sometimes stories. When she asks him to read them, he reads them but doesn’t really get them. She loves that. If he just read them, then what’s the fun?

He asks her to explain them. That’s a date idea.

All the poems she ever wrote were with him as her muse and the only painting she ever described.

She says that he inspires her writing. She loves to write about him. She describes him as an undiscovered forest with mysterious galaxy filled eyes. She would love to explain her poems to him and watch his cheeks turn bright red.

He said that he wants to do more things together and asked her how nothing in common doesn’t scare her. She, an addict of sitcoms, once again said, “That’s where the magic happens.”

In popular sitcoms she saw, the man and woman, who have nothing in common, just live their lives as their own. At the end of the day, they talk with each other and that’s love too.

Supporting each other, thinking of plausible date ideas to do together, worrying about falling out of love, worrying about being too much in love (NEVER worry about that), loving the time spent together and finally loving each other no matter what, is all that matters.

“That’s why I don’t worry about us”, she said adding “we’re still very young.”

-The End-

Bonus:

“What if we fall out of love?”

Just worrying about it makes our love stronger. Romantic relationships are no different from any other relations. Friendship is a relation between two people. There are conflicts in their relation too. But friends who fight just come back stronger.

Love defines humans.

Love.

Every relationship has love, in fact, love gives rise to them.

As long as we have love in us, any relation can work out.
