Natural Disasters

 Hello everyone!

i wrote this one after a class about nature. Our ma'am told us about the importance of nature and how it always gives but never takes. then an idea struck me, 'what if nature isn't what it makes us think it is? what if it is the villain?'. Then i wrote this! I really liked it when I wrote so I hope you guys like it too (if you're into crazy conspiracies like me).

“It always gives and never takes”

My teacher had taught me this

But she missed a clue,

The colours so true.

Little did she know

It was a cooking so slow.

Million years and it’s so different.

Still strange I'm not dead yet.

The air it let out was

What made us breathe our last

The slow poison it let in the sky

Made some dead and some forever alive

I’m probably the latter

For I don’t remember anything before

To say this is the past or future

I have no clue, not one.

But I’m sure of one thing,

This is the present

And certainly not a gift

To the system. Not yet.

And probably never.

The cyanide in the liquid

In a glass we drink

Monsters got weak

And thus got killed

The flying fly in stomachs

Of little children

Ate them from inside

And thus dead inside

Those venomous ropes

Tied to our throats

Swallow us alive

And none survive

They ate themselves

And it isn’t cruel

Once we kill one of us

We are suddenly criminals

The dirty spiny eyes

Blood the rosy hands

And showered in the cries

Of little baby hearts

The funny little plant

With poison filled leaf

Never felt the guilt

Being on a killing spree

The water in the bowl

Couldn’t control itself

And thus came out

Killing million hundreds

They don’t care a bit

For they’re shellfish

They still want to live

At the cost of killing

The poem in the air

Turned out to be a suicide note

With every person inhaling

Their number keeps decreasing

And they call us ‘monsters’

While they hid behind the screen

Waiting to show up to the

World that just tasted reality

Over dose or under dose

The massacre is the same

They could do what they want

And the “monsters” couldn’t question it

All the science and shit

Didn’t predict this

Not even a genius could

See through the blue

Not a drop of blood fell

But people lied in a red pool

Filled with helplessness

While they snicker and groove

Those green hands

Full of swords and

Weapons with powder

Proving it’s the end.

A mistake is all it takes

For the world to annihilate

The ‘monster’ away

While the ‘good’ stays.

~The End~

The ‘monster’ is humans. The ‘they’ is the nature.

I want to explain this poem. This is about how plants are slow cooking the humans and how the animals are also part of them. There are two teams here. The obvious strongest one, NATURE and the weaker but strong one, HUMANS.

So the oxygen in the air slowly turns into something poisonous but bear in mind, it changes slowly. No one ever doubts it; I mean seriously who doubts the air we breathe in? Eventually, some people die. But some are unaffected by it thus being immune to the change. This changes a *few* things in the biological design of the human body making them immortal! So I, the main character as always, am immortal. And somehow I don’t remember most of my past (probably storage problem lol). Then i go on explaining how the nature, treated like God by humans, has turned its back on them and showed its true colours (different shades of green lol). That’s how the poem discovers and goes through all the dark things.

In the end its said that, the “monster” can be wiped from the home of the “good” [They are in apostrophes for good reasons]. From this we can understand that the nature still doesn’t accept the fact that they’re bad. They use the excuse, “humans are monsters, they violated us and this is just 10% of what they did to us. Like revenge we emerged.”

Now let’s look into the metaphors!

Venomous ropes: your frie- I mean snakes <3

spiny eyes: thorns on roses

Funny little plant: gympie-gympie found in Australia. I did my research before writing this poem lol. According to the article I read, it has extremely poisonous leaves. “The Gympie-Gympie is just as capable of stinging when its leaves are dead.” If an animal goes anywhere near it, it will put it in such pain that it makes the animal fall off of a cliff to free from the pain although it means suicide. “It is notorious for its extremely painful and long-lasting sting.” Sweet!

Water in the bowl: the ocean and the sea

Green hands full of swords: basically any tree with leaves.

[That’s it! If you have any confusion or doubt, leave a comment!]

So after a few days, i saw a short about 'crazy conspiracies that'll keep you up at night!!' I"m not exaggerating, this is what the title said. As it sounded interesting I clicked to watch it. The first one was,

"What if the nature is farming us? feeding us oxygen so that once we die and decompose, they can feed on us?"

What will you call this?? I screamed. COINCIDENCE??? I don't think so, i think the government is watching me. kidding lol. It's more than a mere coincidence, it's fate! destiny!

That was far from crazy. anyways, what do you think of it? lemme know ;)

okayyy bye <3

love,

Rini.

(TDD:- first thing first, MY EXAMS ARE DONE! waited a week to yell that. FINALLY. To celebrate the completion of exams, the victims- i mean my friends and i planned to hang out and it went pretty cool. Three of us coincidentally wore yellow. Lol. This TDD is only about The last day because the other days sucked. Had to grill my brain on the stove. The pain doesn't go away though, I got some notes to complete sighh.
